These last few years have seen an avalanche of products being pushed using hype and wildly exagerated claims.
The overload of hype has produced a market that no longer believes the advertising.
The market no longer wants to be aware of the products being peddled. People are unsubscribing from some marketers' lists
in
alarming numbers. (alarming to them that is)
If you read some of the marketers' blogs (mid November 2006) you'll see people saying they have unsubscribed to 30 or more lists this week alone, and those staying are unresponsive. Emails going to lists of 150,000 getting 200 clicks or less are becoming common.
Does this signal the death knell of your business? Are you doomed to go back to your office cubicle, suitably chastised for daring to dream? Not unless you want the Dilbert life.
Let me say straight out... "there is no Death of Internet Marketing!" This shakeup is nothing more than a normal business cycle. All that it means is you go back to business basics and takinge the time to build a solid business model... instead of using the latest tactic or technique. (leave that to the opportunists, it doesn't work for serious business builders)
So where does this leave you?
In hog heaven. The opportunistic wannabees are leaving in droves, shaking their heads, wondering what went wrong. You however, can clean-up... and build a powerful, long term profitable business, if you do it right!

In this new era of internet marketing, solid business alliances will be your strength. Finding partners to cross promote with, forming synergistic marketing alliances and producing high quality bundled product offers.
It's in groups you'll have strength to protect your niche markets against the huge companies trying to muscle in over the next few years. It's in alliances you'll build big companies of your own.
